Treason
There is only one English word that could accurately describe the behaviour of the American leadership (political- both parties, economical and cultural, all of them) and that word is:
TREASON
How could it not be named that?
1. The United States won two world wars by recruiting its manufacturing prowess and know how to produce weapons and means to transport both men and weapons to their targets and means to protect these transports. We lost our manufacturing prowess and know how because we do not manufacture any more.
2. The United States won these wars and some more after it because it was rich, due to this manufacturing industries producing income for all, poor, rich, middle class and the government. with that national wealth it could recruit and sustain an military and it could produce the weaponry needed for that military. Without that wealth there are no means to sustain the military and this wealth is gone.
3. The manufacturing and other industries are not gone due to globalization! They are gone because other countries have their total economics unfairly cheaper then ours. India for example, does not have all this taxation named Social Security and such alike. It also does not require anybody to provide health care. You are on your own. We did not demand that they would change, neither did we adjust or put tariffs. Rather, due to the pressure of those who benefited from the situation, we allowed the few rich to exploit the difference and get richer. We even invented all this globalization shit speak and whole global trade laws that would prevent any attempt to correct the situation.
4. In the process described above, the American wealth moved to those other countries and left only the empty shell of itself here, like a cards building that would collapse. Those other countries became into superpowers economically and soon militarily.
5. And we were left with a third world country with extremely rich and soon to be extremely poor classes. A country that produce nothing and depends on the rest of the world for everything sans corn and beef. Oh at least we could feed ourselves, if we have enough illegal employees to work for us.
6. And those who benefited, once the United States would be recognized as the weakling she became, the others will come to suck it and take away its richness, especially from the people who have such wealth.
